Since May, the RTC has been engaged in a program of self-renewal.  We have added seven new members and have recruited a strong slate of candidates for the November election.  We have also been refining our mission and vision statements.  The Weston RTC is committed to recruiting, developing, electing, and (perhaps most importantly) supporting the best possible candidates for elective and appointive office in Weston.  We will achieve this goal by cultivating the RTC as a political community that is civil, thoughtful, and professional both internally and in our interactions with the greater community.

We are always recruiting new members for the RTC.  Many of our most recent members and candidates for office came to us as politically unaffiliated but wish to get involved now to be part of the solution to partisan rancor that has become normal in political discourse.  These new members have energized the RTC. We are building a big tent with diverse ideas and a shared commitment to the Town of Weston.

As we prepare for the November election, we need your help.  The success of our campaign depends on volunteers to host meet-the-candidate events, host yard signs, make calls, and just help us get the word out.  More importantly, we need you to engage with your friends and neighbors.  Please ask them to examine our slate of candidates, watch our interviews, participate in the League of Women voters debates in mid-October and, of course, vote Republican on November 7th!
